Chaekgalpi Tools are made by the person who runs Chaekgalpi Library, a Korean-language web service for keeping a reading log. About Chaekgalpi Library (Korean) →
How to use
- Press "Open in browser". Works in Chrome, Edge, Whale and phone browsers.
- Drop a PDF and adjust the split line. Each sheet can be adjusted separately, and there is auto-fit.
- Choose the reading direction (left to right or right to left) and the centre overlap, then save.
Features
- Images are not re-compressed, so quality stays the same.
- Interface in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese.
Good to know
- The PDF library is fetched from a CDN the first time, so an internet connection is needed. The file itself is never sent.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed.
Other tools in this group
- TrimPDF — Trims the wide margins of a scanned book PDF and enlarges the text so it reads comfortably on a tablet or e-reader.
- Two-page Split (Windows) — Splits a PDF scanned two pages per sheet into left and right pages. The downloadable Windows version; a browser version is available if you prefer not to install anything.
- Scan PDF Cleanup — Makes yellowed, faint scanned books crisp again: whitens the background and darkens the text.
