How to use
- Download scan-pdf-cleanup.exe and run it (no install).
- Drop a PDF and choose the cleanup strength.
- The result is saved as a new file. The original is untouched.
What it does not do
- No OCR. The output is an image PDF.
- Margin cropping and two-page splitting are separate tools. This one only handles image quality.
- Colour-photo magazine scans are out of scope.
Since v0.1.1, the program sends only its name and version to the Chaekgalpi server when it starts, to check whether a newer version exists. No file is sent, it asks once a day, and you can turn it off in the settings.
