Music Folder Organizer
Sorts scattered music files into artist and album folders and finds duplicate tracks. Works without an internet connection (except the update check, which can be turned off).
Windows program · MIT · v0.4.4 · Updated 2026-10-14
For Windows. The file is unsigned, so if "Windows protected your PC" appears the first time, choose "More info → Run anyway".
Chaekgalpi Tools are made by the person who runs Chaekgalpi Library, a Korean-language web service for keeping a reading log. About Chaekgalpi Library (Korean) →
How to use
- Download the program and run it (no install).
- Pick the folder to organize; the tags are read and the artist/album structure is shown as a preview.
- Check it and apply. Duplicate tracks go to a
_Duplicatesfolder or the recycle bin.
What it does not do
- It never edits tags; it only reads them (editing is Music Tag Filler's job).
- Apart from the update check it never connects to the internet, and it never downloads or replaces a new version by itself.
- It never deletes files outright.
- No format conversion, playback or playlists.
Since v0.4.2, the program sends only its name and version to the Chaekgalpi server when it starts, to check whether a newer version exists. No file is sent, it asks once a day, and you can turn it off in the settings.
